Armenia men's national Basketball team departed for Albania

On February 20, in Tirana, the Armenian national basketball team will play its final qualification match for the 2027 FIBA World Cup against Albania.

The Armenian team, led by new head coach Bogdan Karacic, has traveled for the match with the following roster:

Greek specialist Kostas Papavasileos and Mikael Poghosyan have joined the coaching staff.

So far, Armenia has played three group-stage matches, suffering two losses against Austria and securing a victory over Albania. The chances of advancing to the playoffs remain alive, but a decisive win against Albania is necessary.
