Armenia’s U20 freestyle wrestling team shines at international tournament in Chișinău

Armenia’s youth freestyle wrestling team delivered a strong performance at the international tournament dedicated to the memory of Tudor Jubircu, held in the Moldovan capital, Chișinău, according to the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.

Ten Armenian wrestlers took part in the competition, with seven of them earning medals — four gold and three bronze. The tournament featured participants from countries such as Ukraine, France, Moldova, Romania, and Italy.

The gold medalists were:

• Sasha Petrosyan (57 kg),

• Sarkis Begoyan (61 kg),

• Arman Musikyan (65 kg),

• Narek Nikoghosyan (79 kg).

Bronze medalists:

• Vladimir Azaryan (74 kg),

• Razmik Epremyan (86 kg),

• Henrik Haykyan (125 kg).
