Head coach of Armenia U21, Armen Gyulbudaghyants, has announced the list of players who will take part in the preparation for the upcoming Euro 2027 qualifying matches. On September 5, Armenia will face Sweden, and on September 9, the team will play against Poland.
The extended squad includes 23 players, with only three representing foreign clubs — from Russia, Austria, and Slovakia. The core of the team traditionally consists of players from the Armenian championship, with the largest representation coming from capital club BKMA.
Compared to the June friendlies against Cyprus, where there were 8 legionnaires, the number of foreign-based players has decreased.
