2026 IWF Junior World Championships: final day results

On May 8, the seventh and final day of the 2026 Junior World Weightlifting Championships for athletes under 20 took place in Ismailia, Egypt. Medals were awarded in three weight categories: men’s 110 kg and +110 kg, as well as women’s +86 kg.

At the end of the day, Iranian athletes won two big gold medals, while China claimed one more gold.

China confidently won the overall medal standings with 7 gold and 5 silver medals. Iran finished second with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.

Team Armenia finished fourth, winning 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
