On July 13, the U20 Asian Championships in freestyle wrestling concluded in Bishkek. Medals were awarded in all 10 weight categories, and the final team standings were determined.

Just like in Greco-Roman wrestling, Iran topped the team rankings in freestyle as well, scoring 179 points. Iranian wrestlers won four gold medals, two silver, and one bronze.

India finished second with 157 points, followed by Kazakhstan in third with 133 points. Japan and Kyrgyzstan rounded out the top five with 127 and 123 points, respectively.

Among the champions were two Indian wrestlers, along with one wrestler each from Japan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
