Armenia U21 to Play Home Matches in Gyumri Starting Next Year

The Armenia U21 national football team will begin hosting its home matches in Gyumri next year, the Football Federation of Armenia’s press service has announced.
The FFA has reached an agreement with Shirak Football Club. The Shirak Stadium in Gyumri will become the home venue of Armenia’s youth national team.
Therefore, the match against Italy in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027 qualifying campaign will be Armenia U21’s final home game in Yerevan before the move.
The Armenia U21 vs Italy U21 match will take place on October 1 at the FFA Technical Centre/Football Academy in Yerevan.
Armenia and Italy are competing in Group E of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying tournament.
