2016 Olympic silver medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling, Migran Arutyunyan, has officially announced his next mixed martial arts bout. The Armenian fighter revealed on social media that his opponent will be American Shane Torres, who holds a professional record of 8 wins and 9 losses.

The fight will headline the UNF 30 event, scheduled for January 31 in Los Angeles. For Harutyunyan, this bout represents an important step in his return to the octagon following his previous appearance.

The 36-year-old last competed on May 25 at the “Nashe Delo 83” event in Sochi, where he suffered a loss to Brazilian fighter Lucas Nascimento. Despite that defeat, Harutyunyan remains one of the most experienced fighters in the promotion.

Overall, Migran Arutyunyan has competed in eight professional MMA bouts, earning six victories and two losses. The upcoming fight against Torres will give him an opportunity to reassert himself on the international stage.
