Dinamo Tbilisi have announced the signing of Nigerian winger Mathew Gbomadu. The 21-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Georgian club.
Gbomadu left Ararat-Armenia in the winter of 2026 and joined Portuguese top-flight side Estrela Amadora. However, the Nigerian did not make a single appearance for the Portuguese club.
Gbomadu is a graduate of the Vista Academy, but he took his first steps in senior football in Armenia. He spent three and a half seasons playing for Van and Ararat-Armenia, meaning that he can, to some extent, also be considered a product of Armenian football.
The forward made a total of 68 appearances in the Armenian Premier League, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists. During his time with Ararat-Armenia, Gbomadu also won the Armenian Cup and the national championship.
