Meruzhan Palian scores dominant win at WOW 19 in Spain

21-year-old Armenian fighter from Akhaltsikhe, Meruzhan Palian (4-2), earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over Francis Silumsadisa (1-1) at the WOW 19 event held on May 17 in Alicante, Spain.
The bout went the full three rounds, with Palian showcasing his superiority both in striking and on the ground. He frequently took his opponent down and controlled the action throughout, leaving no doubt in the judges’ minds.
This was Palian ’s first professional fight outside of Georgia, and he handled the challenge with confidence.
Notably, the Way of Warrior FC promotion is now managed by UFC star Ilia Topuria.
