Benur Pashayan Memorial 2026: All Final Results and Tournament Medals in Yerevan

On July 1, the international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament, the Benur Pashayan Memorial 2026, concluded in Yerevan. A total of 170 wrestlers from 11 countries took part in the competition, while the Armenian national team won 10 medals: 1 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals.

The tournament was held at the Dynamo Sports Complex in Yerevan and brought together a strong field of participants. Armenia was not represented by its main lineup in all weight categories, but several members of the senior national team also stepped onto the mat.

The main victory for the hosts was delivered by Armen Melikyan, who won the all-Armenian final in the 63 kg weight category. Silver medals were won by Yuri Karapetyan, Yura Oveyan and Aramais Harutyunyan. Bronze medals for Armenia were claimed by Tigran Minasyan, Narek Ahoyan, Martik Petrosyan, Samvel Grigoryan, Vigen Nazaryan and Gevorg Tadevosyan.

Russia topped the gold medal standings with three victories. Iran won two gold medals. Armenia, Poland, Uzbekistan, Estonia and Georgia each claimed one gold medal.
