Armenian league matches to begin with a minute of silence in honor of Nikita Simonyan

All matches of the Fastex Premier League scheduled for November 25, 2025 (Matchweek 15) will begin with a minute of silence to honor the memory of Armenian football legend Nikita Simonyan. The same tribute will be paid before all fixtures of Matchweek 17 in the Armenian First League.

Players of all teams will take the field wearing black armbands as a mark of respect for Simonyan, whose impact on Armenian and Soviet football is immeasurable.

Nikita Pavlovich Simonyan passed away on November 23 at the age of 99.
