Twenty-year-old Armenian footballer Mark Gevorgyan played a full match today for the first team of Hannover 96. The defender appeared as a right wing-back in a system with three central defenders and was given the opportunity to prove himself in a friendly match during the club’s training camp.
Gevorgyan was actively involved in attacking actions and came close to a goal contribution twice in the second half. In one episode, he fired a dangerous shot on goal after an individual run, while in another he successfully intercepted the ball and attempted a cross into the penalty area, but the opposing goalkeeper managed to intervene.
