Marat Grigorian and Mamuka Usubyan to meet in ONE tournament quarterfinal

Armenian kickboxers Marat Grigorian and Mamuka Usubyan will face each other at a ONE Championship event. The bout will take place in Bangkok on August 7.
The matchup will be one of the quarterfinals of ONE’s new featherweight tournament.
The 31-year-old Mamuka Usubyan is of Yazidi origin and was born in the Armenian village of Shamiram. He has recorded 26 victories and two defeats in his professional career.
Usubyan has already competed four times in ONE Championship and has won all four bouts. He is now set to face one of the toughest challenges of his career.
The 35-year-old Marat Grigorian has competed in ONE for six years and is considered one of the main favorites to win the new tournament. The Armenian veteran has a professional record of 70 victories and 14 defeats.
Grigorian enters the quarterfinal matchup on a three-fight winning streak. The winner will advance and continue the battle for the title in ONE Championship’s new tournament.
