Manuel Tulipa Keeps His Word and Shaves After Ararat-Armenia’s Historic Victory

Ararat-Armenia head coach Manuel Tulipa kept the promise he made ahead of the second leg of the Europa League play-off against Universitatea Craiova.
At the pre-match press conference, the Portuguese coach said he was ready to shave off his beard if his team won and qualified for the league phase of the competition. Moreover, Tulipa invited journalists to follow his example if Ararat-Armenia achieved the historic result.
The Yerevan club defeated the Romanian side 1-0 and reached the Europa League league phase for the first time in its history.
After the match, Tulipa did not delay in fulfilling his promise: the Ararat-Armenia head coach arrived at the post-match press conference completely clean-shaven.
