Armenian gymnast Mamikon Khachatryan became the winner of the prestigious international tournament “Strongest Athletes’ Cup” held in Moscow.
In the final on pommel horse, the 18-year-old European silver medalist delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 14.900 and surpassing all his rivals.
The silver medal went to Kazakhstan’s representative Zeynolla Idrisov, who scored 14.566. The bronze was claimed by 17-year-old European champion from Armenia Hamlet Manukyan with a score of 14.300.
Russian gymnast Daniil Novikov took fourth place with 13.600 points.
The pommel horse final was held on July 5 in Moscow.
