English club Leeds is not considering signing Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan. This was reported by Match TV, citing the club’s press service.
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov’s Telegram channel shared information about Leeds’ possible interest in the 24-year-old footballer. However, official representatives of the English club denied these rumors.
"No, that is not true," Leeds' press service stated in response to Match TV's inquiry.
It is worth noting that earlier, insider Karp reported that Leeds was ready to make an offer for Spertsyan and that head coach Daniel Farke was personally interested in his transfer. However, this claim turned out to be false, as confirmed by the club.
This season, Spertsyan has played 25 matches for Krasnodar, scoring six goals and providing three assists. Additionally, he scored twice for the Armenian national team in the Nations League, finding the net against Latvia.
