Krasnodar defeated Rubin and strengthened their RPL lead

In the 13th round of the Russian Premier League, Krasnodar claimed a narrow 1–0 home victory over Kazan’s Rubin.
The only goal came in the 13th minute, when Victor Sá found the net after a teammate’s assist.
Krasnodar captain and Armenia national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan played the full 90 minutes and was one of the key figures of the match. Spertsyan was named Man of the Match afterward.
Another Armenian international, Ugochukwu Iwu, missed the game due to injury and was not included in Rubin’s squad.
Notably, Armenia head coach Yeghishe Melikyan watched the match from the stands, assessing the performances of his national team players in the RPL.
