Conflict between Spertsyan and Ndong officially resolved

The Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (KDK) has closed the case regarding the incident that occurred during the match between Krasnodar and Akhmat (2:0). Following the hearing, it was confirmed that Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan will not face suspension, and the conflict between him and Akhmat player Ousmane Ndong has been fully settled.

KDK chairman Artur Grigoryants stated that the committee had reviewed all relevant documents, including the match report and delegate’s notes. Initially, Ndong was sent off for aggressive behavior, and according to Akhmat’s representative, a phrase in Spanish with possible racist connotations was allegedly heard from Spertsyan.

However, an official letter was later submitted to the KDK, signed by RPL president Ashot Alaev, the general directors of both clubs, and the two players themselves. The document confirmed that the sides had reached mutual understanding and reconciliation. According to them, the misunderstanding arose in the heat of a tense match and was not based on personal hostility or racism.

Both players admitted their mistakes, apologized to each other, and confirmed that there were no further claims. Ousmane Ndong also sent a personal statement, saying he considered the matter closed and held no resentment toward Spertsyan.

Taking this into account, the KDK decided not to impose any further disciplinary action. Eduard Spertsyan avoided suspension, and the case was officially closed.

Thus, the conflict between Krasnodar and Akhmat has been formally resolved, with all parties expressing their commitment to focusing solely on football.
