Konane Arslanian to continue his career with the Armenian community team in Marseille

19-year-old Armenia U19 national team defender Konane Behe Arslanian has signed a contract with UGA Ardziv, a club of the Armenian community in Marseille that plays in the French fifth division.

Arslanian, who is 185 cm tall, is a product of the academies of Marseille’s Olympique and Grenoble. Last season, he played for Marignane in the French U19 championship, scoring 1 goal in 12 matches.

Arslanian has 4 appearances for the Armenia U19 national team. At UGA Ardziv, he will join several Armenian footballers, including former national team defender Gaël Andonian.

The club’s official statement noted that Arslanyan is a “promising central defender” and was signed after performing successfully in the French youth leagues.
