The draw for the French Cup quarter-finals has taken place. As a result, the tournament’s surprise package, Stade Briochin, featuring Armenian footballer Arthur Zakharyan, will face PSG.
Stade Briochin plays in the fourth tier of French football but has remarkably reached the quarter-finals by defeating two Ligue 1 teams—Nice and Le Havre—as well as Annecy from the second division.
In the Round of 16 match against Nice, the winning goal was scored in the final seconds. Armenian midfielder Arthur Zakharyan, 27, played a crucial role in the decisive attack.
The Stade Briochin vs PSG quarter-final match is scheduled for February 26.
