Armenian-American grappler Keith Krikorian successfully defended his CFFC BJJ lightweight championship.
In the main event of CFFC BJJ 18 in Philadelphia, Krikorian faced Pedigo Submission Fighting representative CJ Murdock and secured a submission victory.
The Armenian-American grappler locked in a choke and forced his opponent to tap with 1 minute and 30 seconds remaining in the match.
It was Krikorian’s first defense of the CFFC BJJ title. He captured the championship belt in April 2026, becoming the first lightweight champion in the organization’s history.
The victory over Murdock could also help Krikorian earn another appearance under the UFC BJJ banner. Winners on the CFFC BJJ 18 main card were given the opportunity to register free of charge for one of the UFC BJJ Opens events.
Krikorian already has experience competing in UFC BJJ. The Armenian-American grappler previously competed there twice and won both matches.
With the victory, Keith extended his successful run and retained the CFFC BJJ lightweight championship.
