Karen Muradyan: “We must give our all in the game to achieve a positive result”

Armenia national team midfielder Karen Muradyan took part in the pre-match press conference ahead of the World Cup 2026 qualifier against Hungary. The match will take place on November 13 in Yerevan.
Answering journalists’ questions, Muradyan shared his thoughts on the upcoming opponent and the team’s mindset:
“We all know that Hungary is a strong team, but I think we played well in the away match, and the game could have gone differently,” the midfielder noted.
The player also commented on his possible inclusion in the starting lineup:
“Of course, I always try to perform well for my club so I can be useful to the national team,” said Muradyan.
Speaking about what can help the Armenian team achieve a positive result, he emphasized the importance of full commitment:
“We must stay disciplined for all 90 minutes and give ourselves completely to the game — only then can we achieve a positive outcome.”
Muradyan also highlighted the rejuvenation of the Armenian squad:
“It’s encouraging to see so many young players being called up to the national team — it gives hope for a bright future.”
The Armenia vs. Hungary match will take place on November 13 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
