Karen Khachanov reaches the third round of Roland Garros 2026

Karen Khachanov continues his run at the 2026 French Open. The Russian tennis player advanced to the third round of Roland Garros after a hard-fought victory over Argentina’s Marco Trungelliti.
In the round of 64, Khachanov faced Trungelliti in a tense four-set match. Karen won the opening set on a tie-break — 7:6 (7:5), but then lost the second set 5:7.
After that, Khachanov took control of the match in the third set, winning it convincingly 6:1. The fourth set once again went to a tie-break, where Karen proved stronger — 7:6 (7:4).
The final score of the match was 7:6 (7:5), 5:7, 6:1, 7:6 (7:4) in Khachanov’s favor.
In the next round of Roland Garros, Karen Khachanov will face Dutch tennis player Jesper de Jong.
