Karen Khachanov confidently began his campaign at the Paris Masters by crushing Ethan Quinn

Russian tennis player of Armenian descent Karen Khachanov (ATP 14) had an excellent start at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Paris. In the first-round match, the world No. 14 claimed a dominant 6–1, 6–1 victory over American Ethan Quinn (ATP 71).
The match on the hard courts of Bercy lasted only 1 hour and 2 minutes, during which Khachanov gave his opponent no chance. With this win, Karen ended a five-match losing streak, showing renewed confidence and stability toward the end of the season.
In the next round, Khachanov will face the winner of Denis Shapovalov vs. João Fonseca.
For Karen, this tournament could be an important step toward strengthening his position in the ATP rankings and finishing the season on a high note.
