Karen Khachanov off to a successful start at Wimbledon

Karen Khachanov began his campaign at the prestigious Wimbledon tournament with confidence, defeating American Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets — 7:5, 6:4, 6:4.

Khachanov delivered a solid performance on his serve, firing 11 aces and converting 4 out of 10 break points. Throughout the match, Karen won 77% of points on his first serve and 62% on his second, which allowed him to secure a total of 110 points against his opponent’s 83.

Khachanov’s next opponent will be determined in the match between Japan’s Shintaro Mochizuki and Italy’s Giulio Zeppieri.
