Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev reach ATP Hong Kong doubles semifinals

Karen Khachanov continues his successful run at the ATP tournament in Hong Kong in the doubles event. The Russian tennis player, partnering Andrey Rublev, advanced to the semifinals after a hard-fought victory in the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinal match, the Russian duo faced the French pair of Théo Arribagé and Albano Olivetti. The encounter proved to be intense and lasted three sets. Khachanov and Rublev confidently took the first set 6–3, lost the second set 3–6, and then dominated the decisive match tie-break, winning it 10–4.
In the semifinals, scheduled for January 10, Khachanov and Rublev will face the duo of Kirkov (USA) and Stevens (Netherlands).
It is worth noting that on the same day Karen Khachanov also competed in the singles draw. In the round of 16, he lost in straight sets to American Michael Mmoh. Both sets were decided by tie-breaks, which went in favor of the U.S. representative.
