On January 16, in Nice (France), the international wrestling tournament Grand Prix de France Henri Deglane 2026 kicked off. On the first day of competition, all winners and medalists in women’s wrestling were determined.
On January 17, freestyle wrestling competitions began, while Greco-Roman wrestling events will take place on January 18.
In women’s wrestling, athletes from France won three gold medals, representatives of Italy and Spain claimed two gold medals each, and the USA team secured one gold medal.
