Results of Day 2 at the Zagreb Open 2026 Freestyle Wrestling Ranking Tournament

On February 5, the second day of the Zagreb Open 2026 wrestling ranking tournament took place in Croatia. Medals were awarded in four freestyle weight categories: 79, 92, 97, and 125 kg.
Gold medals were won by wrestlers from France, Iran, the USA, and Bahrain. With four golds from the first day, Team USA firmly leads the overall standings.
The most dramatic final of the second day took place in the 97 kg category, where American wrestler Stephen Buchanan secured a convincing win over Olympic and three-time world champion Hassan Yazdani.
