Poland Open 2026 Freestyle Wrestling Results: Eight U.S. Victories and Two Medals for Armenian Wrestlers

The international freestyle wrestling tournament Poland Open 2026 has concluded, with winners and medalists determined across ten weight categories.
The United States delivered the most successful performance, winning gold medals in eight of the ten weight classes. Polish wrestlers claimed the remaining two titles.
Poland Open 2026 champions:
- 57 kg — Luke Joseph Lilledahl (USA)
- 61 kg — Marcus Glenn Blaze (USA)
- 65 kg — Christopher James Composto (USA)
- 70 kg — Zain Retherford (USA)
- 74 kg — James Green (USA)
- 79 kg — Levi David Haines (USA)
- 86 kg — Parker James Keckeisen (USA)
- 92 kg — Dustin Glenn Plott (USA)
- 97 kg — Zbigniew Baranowski (Poland)
- 125 kg — Robert Baran (Poland)
Armenia won two medals at the tournament, both in the 70 kg weight category. Arman Andreasyan claimed the silver medal, losing the gold to Zain Retherford. Vazgen Tevanyan secured one of the two bronze medals. Canada’s Lachlan McNeil won the other bronze medal in the division.
As a result, two Armenian wrestlers reached the podium in the 70 kg weight category.
Armenia was also represented in the 61 kg category by Manvel Khndzrtsyan, who finished the competition in 12th place.
