Results of Day One of the Yasar Dogu, Vehbi Emre & Hamit Kaplan Wrestling Tournament 2026

On January 8 in Antalya (Turkey), the first competition day of the international Yasar Dogu, Vehbi Emre & Hamit Kaplan wrestling tournament came to an end. On the opening day, Greco-Roman wrestlers as well as women’s wrestling representatives took to the mats. As a result of the day, medalists were determined in several weight categories.
In Greco-Roman wrestling, medals were contested in the 55, 63, 72, 82, and 97 kg weight classes. Gold medals were won by wrestlers from Turkey, Iran, and Kazakhstan.
