Sky Sport reports that Islam Makhachev fell ill ahead of the fight with Tsarukyan. Because of this, he missed an interview on the Sky Sport channel, which was scheduled for January 15.
“We expected Islam Makhachev to appear on our show. However, Islam informed us that he was feeling unwell. This cannot be good news during fight week. Let’s see what happens with him next,” said Sky Sport journalist Revander Khunia.
