Inter signed Akanji and parted ways with Taremi

AC Milan’s Inter had an active final day of the summer transfer window. The Champions League finalists secured the loan of Manchester City’s centre-back Manuel Akanji. The Swiss defender joined the team for €2 million, with Inter holding a purchase option worth €15 million.

Thus, Akanji became the new teammate of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

At the same time, the Nerazzurri parted ways with Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi. The forward will continue his career at Greek side Olympiacos, with the transfer fee set at €2 million.
