Inter thrashed Como, and Mkhitaryan took part in the match

In the 14th round of the Italian Serie A, Inter confidently defeated one of the most consistent teams of the season, Como, claiming a resounding 4–0 victory.

Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his first league appearance since recovering from injury. Earlier, he had already provided an assist in the Coppa Italia match against Venezia.

Mkhitaryan could have recorded an assist in the game against Como as well. It was after his pass that Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored Inter’s third goal, but the ball deflected off a defender, so the Armenian midfielder was not credited with an assist. Mkhitaryan came on in the 71st minute.

Along with Çalhanoğlu, Lautaro Martínez, Marcus Thuram and Carlos Alberto also scored in the match. The victory allowed Inter to move to first place in the league table, but Milan and Napoli have yet to play their matches and could overtake Inter if they win.
