Inter beat Bologna and took the lead in Serie A

AC Milan’s Inter claimed a victory over Bologna in the matchday 18 fixture of the Italian championship. The game ended 3–1 in favor of the Nerazzurri, who thanks to this win returned to the top of the Serie A standings.
Earlier, Milan defeated Cagliari and moved into first place with 38 points, but after Inter’s victory, Inter now has one point more than their city rivals.
Goals for Inter were scored by Piotr Zieliński, Lautaro Martínez, and Marcus Thuram. Inter captain Martínez not only found the net but also provided an assist, earning him the Man of the Match award. Bologna’s only goal was scored late in the game by Santiago Castro.
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan came on in the 68th minute, replacing Nicolò Barella. During his time on the pitch, Mkhitaryan managed one shot on target.
