Inter booked a place in the Coppa Italia semifinal by defeating Torino 2–1. In the next round, Simone Inzaghi’s team will face the winner of the Napoli vs. Como matchup.

Boni and Diouf scored for the Nerazzurri, while Kulenovic netted for the visitors. Two youth players from Inter’s academy — Matteo Cocchi and Issiaka Kamate — started on the flanks. For 21-year-old Kamate, it was his debut with the senior team, and he provided an assist for Boni’s goal.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan also had a strong showing, starting the match and playing 56 minutes. The 37-year-old Armenian was dominant in midfield and left the field with Inter leading 2–0. After his substitution, Inter immediately began to struggle and conceded a goal, but managed to hold onto the lead.

Mkhitaryan’s stats in the match:

Minutes played: 56
Key passes: 2
Accurate passes: 66 (93%)
Possession lost: 8
Tackles: 2
Shots blocked: 2
Ball recoveries: 6
Duels won: 3 out of 6
Fouls: 1
SofaScore rating: 7.5 (second-best in team)

Inter’s youth continues to impress, while veteran players lead the way to potential trophies — the club remains a strong contender for the title.
