A coaching change has taken place at Dynamo Kyiv ahead of their UEFA Conference League match against Armenian side Noah. Igor Kostyuk has been officially appointed as the club’s new head coach.
The 50-year-old specialist has spent his entire coaching career within the Dynamo Kyiv system. After Oleksandr Shovkovskyi was dismissed at the end of November, Kostyuk served as interim head coach and has now been confirmed in the role on a permanent basis.
Under his leadership, the team has played four matches, recording two wins and two defeats. Among them was a 1–2 away loss to Fiorentina in the fifth round of the UEFA Conference League.
The match against Noah will be Igor Kostyuk’s debut as the official head coach of Dynamo Kyiv. The game will take place on December 18 in Lublin, Poland.
