The Hype Fighting league has officially announced another international tournament in Yerevan and revealed the dates of its upcoming events in 2026. The organizers continue to expand the geography of their competitions and focus on the participation of media-driven and star fighters.
The first tournament of 2026 will take place on March 3 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The participants of the Brazilian event have not yet been announced, but the league promises a card featuring big names.
The second tournament is scheduled for March 29 in Yerevan, which once again will become one of Hype Fighting’s key venues. It is worth recalling that the league’s previous event in the Armenian capital took place on December 30, when one of MMA’s biggest stars, Arman Tsarukyan, competed in a grappling bout against Shara Bullet.
One of the most anticipated matchups has already been confirmed for the upcoming Yerevan tournament — a grappling bout between Dillon Danis and Magomed “Chanko” Zaynukov.
Dillon Danis has Armenian roots: his father is Armenian, while his mother is Honduran. In mixed martial arts, Danis has competed in three fights and won all three (record 3–0) while fighting for Bellator. However, he gained the greatest popularity through his performances in grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, and POP-MMA, where he regularly takes part in high-profile media rivalries.
The Yerevan fight card is expected to be strengthened with other star participants, which the league will announce in the near future.
Hype Fighting continues to actively develop its format of spectacular bouts and strengthen Armenia’s position as an important venue for international combat sports.
