Khachatur Mikaelyan to Replace Antonio Fernandez as Armenia Futsal Head Coach for Hungary Match

Armenia's national futsal team will be led by Khachatur Mikaelyan in their upcoming 2028 FIFA Futsal World Cup qualifying match against Hungary. Mikaelyan will temporarily take charge of the team in place of head coach Antonio Fernandez.
According to the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), the temporary change comes following the death of Fernandez's father.
The FFA expressed its deepest condolences to the Spanish coach and his family following their loss.
The Armenia vs Hungary match is scheduled for October 20 as part of the qualification campaign for the 2028 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Khachatur Mikaelyan will therefore be responsible for leading Armenia's national futsal team during the upcoming fixture.
It is important to note that this is a temporary arrangement for a single match. Antonio Fernandez remains Armenia's head coach, and the federation has not announced any permanent changes to the coaching staff.
