Two undefeated Armenian boxers will face each other at a major RCC Boxing event, which will take place on May 30 in Yekaterinburg. Gor Khachatryan and Valery Oganisyan will enter the ring on the undercard of the Dmitry Bivol vs. Michael Eifert fight.

The bout will be held at UGMK Arena and will be part of one of RCC’s most anticipated boxing nights. For both fighters, this will be an important contest in their careers, as not only a victory will be at stake, but also the status of an undefeated prospect.

Valery Oganisyan enters the fight with a record of 9-0, 5 KOs. In his previous bout, he competed at an RCC event and defeated Oganes Ustyan, whose record at the time stood at 12-1-1. That victory became an important return to the Russian boxing scene for Oganisyan after his appearances in Mexico.

Gor Khachatryan has a record of 6-0-1, 5 KOs. In his last fight, he defeated Ramazan Alimatov, and earlier he had already managed to make a name for himself in the RCC system. Khachatryan is known as a powerful puncher and a fighter capable of creating serious problems for opponents through pressure and punching power.

For Armenian fans, this matchup looks somewhat controversial. On the one hand, the Khachatryan vs. Oganisyan fight will be an excellent opportunity for both boxers to make a statement on a big stage. On the other hand, two promising Armenian athletes will be forced to take away each other’s “zero” in the loss column.

That is why, from the fans’ point of view, a draw could be the least painful outcome. However, for the boxers themselves, this fight is a chance to take a major step forward and move closer to bigger bouts.

The main event of the evening will be the fight between Dmitry Bivol and Michael Eifert. The RCC Boxing event will take place on May 30 in Yekaterinburg.
