The undefeated Armenian heavyweight boxer Gurgen Hovhannisyan (7-0) will face Dajuan Calloway (11-3) on April 18 at a boxing event in Orlando.
This fight will be a serious test for the 27-year-old Armenian, as his opponent is currently on a four-fight winning streak.
Hovhannisyan will have a height advantage but will be significantly outweighed by Calloway. The 33-year-old American weighs around 160 kg, while the Armenian boxer’s weight is approximately 125 kg.
"Big Gugo" has been highly active recently. In 2024, he fought three times, and now he will step into the ring for the first time in 2025. In his last bout on December 12, 2024, he defeated Samoan Patrick Mailata (6-3) by majority decision. Before that, he had won all his fights by stoppage.
