Gonzalo Zelarayán Returns from Injury and Scores for Belgrano II (VIDEO)

Gonzalo Zelarayán, nephew of Armenia national team midfielder Lucas Zelarayán, has successfully recovered from injury and helped Belgrano’s reserve team secure a 2–0 victory over Argentinos Juniors II.

In the 54th minute, Gonzalo confidently converted a penalty, scoring his sixth goal in 10 appearances this season. After 14 rounds, Belgrano II is in third place in the reserve league standings.

Before his injury, Gonzalo was also included in the senior Belgrano squad and made one appearance in the Argentine Primera.

It is worth noting that Zelarayán Jr. had previously accepted a call-up to Armenia’s U21 national team, but he will be unable to participate in the upcoming training camp.
