FC Noah continues its European campaign. In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round, the Armenian side drew 2-2 with Montenegro's Budućnost and advanced to the second round on aggregate (3-2).
After the match, Noah’s head coach Sandro Perković summed up the intense battle:
“I want to congratulate my players. This was a very important game for us. We knew it would be hot in Podgorica — not just because of the weather, but also because of the atmosphere in the stadium. We rushed to think the game was already won — and got punished for that. In football, especially in European competitions, even the smallest mistakes are punished instantly. The most important thing is that we’ve made it to the second round.”
In the second qualifying round of the Champions League, Noah will face Hungarian side Ferencváros.
