Armenian winger Gevorg Diarbian has scored his first goal for American club Birmingham Legion in the USL Championship, which is considered the second-highest level of football in the United States.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the match against Louisville, which ended in a 1-1 draw. For Diarbian, this was his first goal of the current season, while he also has one assist in 12 appearances.
It should be noted that Diarbian previously played for the reserve team of MLS club New England Revolution, where he scored 8 goals. He later joined Birmingham Legion in order to establish himself at the professional level.
