Geragousian scores a penalty for Sunderland U21 in the EFL Trophy

Armenia U19 forward Finn Geragousian took part in the EFL National League Cup match, appearing for Sunderland U21 in the game against Halifax Town.

The match ended 1–1 in regular time, with the 18-year-old Armenian forward coming on in the 76th minute. In the post-match penalty shootout, Geragousian confidently converted his spot-kick.

Sunderland U21 won the shootout 5–3, but it was not enough to qualify for the tournament’s play-offs. The Premier League club’s youth side finished the group stage in 4th place in Group D.
