In 2025, the publishing house Newmag will present the autobiography of legendary footballer, former captain of the Armenian national team, and midfielder of Inter Milan, Henrikh Mkhitaryan. This was announced by the director of the publishing house, Artak Aleksanyan.
"This is the news fans have been waiting for so long! Henrikh hinted at this project back in summer during the Newmag festival. Today, work on the book is in full swing. The autobiography will be released in several languages simultaneously," Aleksanyan said.
The book will provide a unique opportunity to delve into the life story of one of the brightest football players of modern times. It will be published with the support of the Italian media giant CairaRCS MEDIA Group, which owns leading outlets such as Corriere della Sera and La Gazzetta dello Sport. In Italy, the autobiography will be published in Italian, while the Armenian version will be handled by Newmag.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan began his football career at Pyunik Yerevan and later played for clubs like Ukraine's Metalurh and Shakhtar, Germany's Borussia Dortmund, England's Manchester United and Arsenal, and Italy's Roma. Today, he represents Inter Milan.
Henrikh holds a special place in Armenian football history as the top scorer of the national team and a 12-time winner of the "Best Footballer of Armenia" title. Beyond his sporting achievements, Mkhitaryan actively participates in social initiatives as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador in Armenia.
