Henri Avagyan may continue his career in a foreign club

Several foreign clubs have shown interest in the services of Armenia national team goalkeeper Henri Avagyan, insider Suren Meliksetyan reports.

Among the contenders are representatives of France’s Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as well as clubs from Hungary and several other European countries. Active negotiations are currently underway between the parties, and new details are expected to emerge in the near future.

In addition, it has become known that Avagyan has signed a contract with the new French agency Christophe Hutteau, which will now represent the player’s interests on the international market.

The 29-year-old Henri Avagyan is currently considered the main goalkeeper of the Armenian national team. He has made seven appearances for the country’s senior team. In the summer of 2025, he returned for the second time in his career to the Yerevan club Pyunik.
