Gaspar Terteryan Defeats Azerbaijani Wrestler to Reach U20 European Championship Final

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Gaspar Terteryan has advanced to the final of the 2025 U20 European Championships.
In the semifinal, Armenia's representative confidently defeated Azerbaijani Seymur Gasimov with a score of 5:1. In the final, he will face Georgian wrestler Aleksandre Rusitashvili, who beat a Ukrainian opponent in the other semifinal.

• Round of 16: Gaspar Terteryan (Armenia) — Arionas Kolitsopoulos (Greece) — 2:1
• Quarterfinal: Gaspar Terteryan (Armenia) — Bendeguz Attila Felkai (Hungary) — 9:1
• Semifinal: Gaspar Terteryan (Armenia) — Seymur Gasimov (Azerbaijan) — 5:1

Gaspar will be the only finalist representing Armenia in the tournament in Caorle. The final will take place tomorrow, July 2. Today, his brother Samvel Terteryan (77 kg) will compete for a bronze medal.
