Gharibyan Makes Debut for Rodina, Galoyan Plays First Match for Shinnik

In Round 22 of the Russian First League, Rodina defeated Shinnik 2–1. The match was marked by the debuts of two Armenian footballers for their respective teams.

Arshak Koryan started in Rodina’s lineup, but the forward was forced to leave the pitch in the 28th minute due to injury.

In the 86th minute, Armenia U21 national team forward Artur Gharibyan made his senior debut for Rodina. For the 19-year-old striker, it was his first professional appearance for the club’s main team. Previously, Gharibyan played for the reserve and youth squads, and he spent the first half of the current season at Spartak Kostroma, where he recorded 5 goals and 2 assists.

Another debut took place in the Shinnik squad. Artur Galoyan made his first appearance for the Yaroslavl-based club and played the full match, completing all 90 minutes.

After 22 rounds, Rodina continues its fight for promotion to the Russian Premier League, sitting third in the standings. Shinnik is currently in 11th place.
