In the pommel horse final, Manukyan scored 14.633 points (D: 5.6 / E: 9.033), securing first place ahead of strong competitors from China and Kazakhstan. This marks his first medal at a senior international event.
Another Armenian team member, 19-year-old Mamikon Khachatryan, finished 4th with a score of 14.066 points.
