Yerevan Noah defender Gonçalo Silva stated that the upcoming match against Warsaw’s Legia in the penultimate round of the Conference League league phase will be one of the most significant matches of his professional career.

“This is truly a very important game — for us, for all Armenians, and for our entire club. We must give our all for the full 90 minutes and secure these three points,” Silva emphasized.

Speaking about his recent injury, the player noted that he has fully recovered and is ready to help the team at maximum capacity. According to him, it is precisely for such intense and high-pressure matches that players choose the path of professional football.

“Everyone who becomes a professional dreams of playing in such matches and living through such moments. We want to give our club and fans a sense of pride. I can say that this is one of the most important matches of my career,” he added.

The match between Noah and Legia will take place today, December 11, at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium. A victory will secure the Armenian champion a place in the Conference League play-offs. Kickoff is at 21:45.
